Tuesday 5th February - Ron Morgan Half sell up and sail

February 20, 2013
Having had to cancel our second meeting in January due to bad weather it was nice to be back in better weather.

It must be everyone's dream to sell up and head south towards the sun! Ron and Sue showed us the other option: to half sell up. Spend the winter months at home and the better weather in the sun living that dream. They headed south for Portugal and with great enthusiasm Ron described, with the aid of some wonderful photographs just how they did it. The club room was full and both Ron and Sue were kept very busy telling us about their adventures and plans for the future. We look forward to hearing more and following their route as they venture further.

Tuesday 8th January 2013 Bernard Heath - Morocco bound

January 9, 2013
Last night Bernard Heath, assisted by Beryl, told us about a trip to Morocco in their motor home in the Spring of 2012. They travelled from the South of Spain, across to Ceuta, then into Morocco;  in the company of about 20 other motor homes. A fascinating and thought provoking story it was too. Bernard illustrated the talk with some amusing anecdotes and fabulous photographs. Maybe a few more of us will follow in their footsteps!

Tuesday 18th December 2012 Christmas Party

December 19, 2012
What a wonderful night - very enjoyable, good company and the raffle raised £55 towards Club funds. Many thanks to everyone who braved the elements to support the do. A big thank you to Beryl & Bernard, Andrea & Bob and the team. Thanks to Alan for the 'Beetle Sail Drive' and to everyone who donated prizes and bought tickets!
