Tuesday 2nd November Bruce Turley Knot Tyer's Guild

A somewhat different night with Bruce Turley who demonstrated rope making, told us a bit about different types of rope and gave us the opportunity to learn to tie a turks head. We only tried the simple ones but some of us still had our hands tied together at the end of the evening.
 
Bruce is a member of the Knot Tyers Guild and his enthusiasm and presentation gave for a great 'interactive' meeting

Tuesday 19th October Nautical Natter

Our first meeting - Nautical Natter and Cheese & Pickles - was enjoyed by 24 members.It was nice to see everyone and hear of all the travels enjoyed over the summer.
 
At our next meeting Bruce Turley of the Knot Tyers Guild will be giving us demonstrations of rope making and a few hints and help with all kinds of knot tying.
 
Join us on 2nd November for an evening with a difference.
